Gear Up for Christmas Tags
Good Morning! Just 2 more sleeps till Christmas Day! Are the gifts wrapped? under the tree? I have some Christmas Tags to share with you today using the Gear Up for Christmas Junk Journal from Stamperia.

Gear Up for Christmas Tags
Yesterday I shared a card using the papers and elements from the Gear Up for Christmas Junk Journal. I love this journal of papers, stickers and elements so much!

It is full all all sorts of eclectic images, papers, cut outs and more! You may still be able to source one to create memory pages for the Christmas Memories you’re about to make!
Here are my four large tags ….

These tags will be going with my Jolabokaflod books. As I’ve kept them flat and no embellishments they could be also used as a bookmark by the recipient. Now I just have to choose which tag for which person!
As I had some pieces left over and did need some tags for hubby to pop on my gifts and I made these sweet ones …

Well they were intended for my gift however someone may have inadvertantly used them on other gifts! I do believe someone needs to pay more attention when wrapping Christmas gifts. I’m sure the others getting these tags on their gifts will appreciate them … well they’d better!
I do hope you are all organised and your gifts are all wrapped and adorned with pretty tags so you can relax and just let the festivities begin!
Happy Christmas to you and yours!

Gear Up for Christmas
Good Afternoon. I have a lovely Z Fold card for you today using the Gear Up for Christmas Junk Journal from Stamperia.

Gear Up for Christmas
I first saw the Gear Up for Christmas Junk Journal from Stamperia being used on a reel on Facebook. Needless to say I loved the project and I just had to hunt one of the Junk Journals down for myself! I love all the cool eclectic images included in these Junk Journals. The journals have printed pages you can use, pages with tags, die cuts, stickers and so much more.

I love the clocks and the cogs included in the images and pages and I wanted to use one particular design but couldnt fit it all on a card front so opted to make a Z fold card.

I cut the design from the sheet I wanted to use and then sized my card accordingly. My card base is 16.2cm x 21cm and folded in half, then half again to create the Z fold. The panels measure 5cm x 16cm for front and inside fold and the large panel is 10.2cm x 16cm.
I used the remaining paper to card my arch panel then just decorated with stickers from the journal. I do love that tree with the clocks and that sweet vintage mouse. I used the Arch dies from Uniquely Creative.

Here’s the card folded out so you can see the awesome design with the clogs, pipes, holly and swirls.
Be sure to check back and see the Christmas Tags made using the Gear Up for Christmas Junk Journal. They are so sweet!
Thanks for stopping by and have a creative day!

Merriest Birdie Friends
Happy Saturday! Well the weather has taken a turn, we are supposed to be in summer or spring at least and we have like winter temperatures outside. So it’s a bit cool here – a bit like these Birdie Friends cards.
Birdie Friends from Waffle Flower Cards
Being the nature lover that I am I just cant help myself when I see new products that contain birds, trees or leaves. So when I saw the Birdie Friends Bundle from Waffle Flower I had to contact my local store and have them put a set aside for me!

I may have enabled a couple of friends to grab a set too! I mean look at those birbs! They are so cute, and a little chubby, plus theres a branch, some leaves, Christmas hats and a lovely Christmas garland.
Merriest Birds Card
This was the first card I made with this bundle. The colouring is super easy with the stencil set and blending brushes. I really dont know what I did before stencils!

I used some bright colours on the birds to make them pop. I’ve used some colours from Stampin Up – Poppy Parade, Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Highland Heather, Azure Afternoon. The 1/2″ blending brushes from Pink Fresh and Spellbinders worked a treat for colouring and blending darker colours for a little depth and definition.
I knew exactly where to put glitter for the snow on the branch as after using the stencil there were some areas still white.

I cut the oval out with my Cricut Maker 3 as I didnt have a die the right size and ran it through my embossing machine with the Falling Snow Embossing Folder from Stampin’ Up!
The Sentiment comes from the Warm Wishes Stamp set from Waffle Flower Cards and it’s cut out with the coordinating die.
Warm Wishes
For my second card I’ve used just one bird and added the Poinsettia Frame Die & Stencils from Waffle Flower.

The Poinsettia’s were simply die cut on white then using the coordinating stencils coloured with inks and blending brushes. The Bird is coloured in Coastal Cabana and a touch of Bubble Bath on his stomach. Sentiment is from the Warm Wishes Stamp Set/Die Bundle.
I really had so much fun with these products. I do have a couple of more cards to share using them but will keep them for another day.
Remember to support local small craft stores when ordering your products. It could make all the difference this time of year especially.
Thanks so much for stopping by and hope you’ve got all your Christmas Cards made and in the post.

Hello & Welcome!
Hello & Welcome to my new little home on the web!
I am Leonie and I’m a crafter of things made with paper! I was previously a demonstrator for Crafty Kids, Kazzaz and Stampin’ Up! After being a business Demonstrator with Stampin’ Up! for over 19 years I decided to resign and just be a hobby crafter.
I loved my time with Stampin’ Up! but after moving 1000km to South West Victoria it was becoming a chore and frustrating to keep the business side going. So I opted to resign and cancel my old Stamp A Latte blog.
Now that I’m relearning to craft for me I’ve decided I wanted a place online to share my projects and refer people to if they wanted to see the things I make. So here we are!
Here’s a couple of items I’ve made recently …

I do hope you will bookmark my site, or add it to your RSS reader, so you’ll see what I’m making and the trouble I’m getting in to!
I wont be selling any products but I will share what I’ve used and where you can get them from. I’m a big fan of supporting small local businesses so I’ll share some of my favourites I shop at. I highly recommend you google the products for someone local to you.
Thanks for stopping by and please feel free to ask any questions you might have along the way. I’m excited to be taking this fresh journey with you!
